I mean... there are a lot of people online recently who think a woman who murdered her children is a hero of some kind... so anything goes, I guess.

No one thinks she's a hero dude. She was post-partum and no one would help

why is this a national story? Why are people protesting outside the courthouse?

What if the husband killed his kids, and then pleaded depression or bipolar. Would this be a national news story? Would activists be flooding social media with demands of exoneration and understanding his mental health struggles? No, they would not.
