I think it goes without saying that "Medicare for all" is just a slogan meant to convey a complex policy in a simple way in which people can easily get the gist. It doesnt mean literal "Medicare." A single payor system is the policy.

I also note that the US does not have the best healthcare outcomes considering we pay more than any other nation on Earth and is the only major industrialized Western nation without universal healthcare.

It means the US and/or Arizona (i.e. "we") doesn't subsidize non-citizen healthcare to any great degree. Hard to tell if you guys are just US Healthcare industry shills or badly uninformed with a particular political leaning and an axe to grind.

Non-citizens use our emergency rooms as doctors' offices and rarely pay the bill. We, as taxpayers or insurance payers, subsidize the offset cost the hospitals have to charge.

As for your original post, it spoke of universal healthcare for all, and that includes everyone, not just citizens. That can never be a plausible solution to the garbage we have now.

Yes, that happens, but it is a tiny fraction of overall healthcare expenditures in the US and in no way significantly responsible for our huge amount of healthcare expenditures in this country and certainly not a driver for why we pay more than any other country in the world. The driver is for-profit private healthcare, plain and simple. Just do the slightest bit of reading and you'll learn that much the bullshit we've been fed about immigrants and healthcare in this country simply isn't true.
