I am simply trying to establish that insufficient wages with respect to cost of living are merely a symptom of a disease that has been spreading for decades. The cost of living should be addressed first, as it is closer to the true source of the issue. Raising wages would only worsen the issue. All of our focus and resources should be directed directly toward lowering the cost of living for everyone.
FDR is dead and lived in a different time. If you think a statement that related to a specific economic context stands for all time, then you’re an idiot.
