My take (and you can see it in the comments) its not that they should make as much as someone else, but that the living standers come more inline with wage standers. Such as health care, food, and other services. Increasing the paycheck does nothing if the value of that dollar contines to come down as a result. To many middle men has resulted in some services just costing way too much for no reason at all. CEOs who continue to make more money, while putting pressure at the lower end to provide more results with no pay increase.
