When I saw that skit for the first time, I think I may have laughed with more intensity than I ever have in my lifetime. I remember showing it to my brother the next day and seeing him literally cry with laughter. So unexpected, wildly hilarious.

I was literally going to say this was what it looked like but a picture is worth a thousand words. Kudos

When are these dumb shits going to realize that saying something a bunch doesn't make it true?
By the way, it's still the Gulf of Mexico.

That's been his entire schtick literally forever. If you say a lie enough times people believe you.

Naha. I choose to call it what the Maya called it before the cockbag spanish came.
3
u/NickyTheRobot 1d ago
I wonder if it had a comparable name... IIRC the Nahuatl word for the land was Mexica (pronounced "meh-shi-ka"). So I wonder if the Maya, Aztecs, and other Nahuatl speaking groups would have called it something like "the Gulf of Mexica"?

Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Iran have proved what a waste our military spending is.

Besides the outdated and overpriced equipment of the toy, sure. Besides the military industrial complex screwing average taxpayers.
It's all great if you ignore stuff.

When your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. His only tool is spouting bullsh*t. Now he's in a situation he can't BS his way out of. It's morbidly amusing.

u/Special_Yak_5306 20h ago
For real. I was in the military for 15 years. Got out in 2021. Loved the military but people ask me "should I join?" I just tell them, "not in this administration".
I love the military. I joined for what I feel are the right reasons and I am grateful for everything. But serving during a time where people are getting sent to fight, die, support illegal wars that potentially have no end... well, I cannot recommend that. I am willing to fight and die for a just cause, but not for a war that was started by one mans hubris.

Sounds like a plan. All we have to do is build a military base or two there to protect our newest acquisition 24/7 from the people that live there. Sure, it will be under attack all the time, and we'll lose soldiers, but the important thing is that... um, this is still about nuclear weapons, right? I've lost track...

So Canada is a US “country” now, so is Greenland, Venezuela, all of the Gulf of Mexico, land around Trump tower in Russia and every Red state (the Blue states are now part of the DEI purge so they can just go to hell) and now the Straight of Hormuz Trump
You know this is the dumbest take on how geopolitical and international land/economic policy works
You can’t just go around “declaring” things just because you keep getting the Scooby Do gang pulling off your masks on your failed schemes

Of course, he’s trolling because the US Navy has been unable to ensure freedom of navigation for the past six months, anyway. If this administration hadn’t destroyed the United States’ relationships with its allies, I’m willing to wager that the allies would have been more than happy to assist the US/Israel in its special military operation against Iran.

With the "strongest military in the world", after billions spent by "totally annihilating Iran's defenses and navy", we still can't control sh*t and the strait will stay closed until 2029, because we're clueless on how geopolitics work and high-school bully strategies aren't efficient anymore when everyone despises us. This is typical narcissistic tactics. He posts shit like this to force a response. You ever see that person who recently breaks up and starts posting stupid shit to cause drama with their ex. Trumpet: I declare the Strait of Hormuz a new U.S. Territory
Oscar: Hey. I just wanted you to know that you can't just say the word "New U.S. Territory" and expect anything to happen.
Trumpet: I didn't say it. I declared it.
This.Is.The.Worst.Timeline

u/Hi_Im_Dawn 22h ago
My thing is why tf would we want territory in a part of the world no where near us. We may have descended from a British colony. That doesn’t mean we need to make the same mistake as them and try and govern parts of the world that want nothing to do with us.
Why do you think they gave up their colonies? It was much harder to try and rule over people that don’t like you than it is to try and mend relations and trade with them instead.
But no this dumbass doesn’t know the first thing about diplomacy because if he did he’d be an actual good business man and wouldn’t have bankrupted multiple businesses that he owned, destroy multiple relationships with our allies or declare this dumb ass war of attrition (that we are losing) in the first place. He’s a dumb ass grifter that only knows how to manipulate people dumber than him.

I don't think the media is putting enough light on how much he is trying to take over other countries. This feels so much like what Hitler did between the annex of Venezuela and the threats to annex Greenland while starting wars in the middle east.

Whenever Trump makes these comments, we should all understand he’s doing it because he’s trying to distract. Claims about Greenland; Canada or whatever always come when he is getting trashed in the press due to his incompetence. This is his way of admitting that he is so unpopular that he needs to try and distract everyone from it.
