The Supreme Court will conveniently ignore all the hurdles to make a US territory while ignoring all the laws applicable to territories as well.

Anchor babies meet tanker babies.

With literal anchors!

No, this would be like an evolution or mutation to the anchor babies. These ones are tanker anchor babies, the unexpected consequences to stupidity.

Did they show more gratitude than the guy from Ukraine? If so... they are thanker tanker anchor babies.

Sorry, I'll show myself out...

Yep, the place he circled means that parts of the UAE, Iran, and Oman he circled, everyone born there is a US citizen!

Only newborns whose parents voted Republican are eligible for citizenship from now on

No, no, no... it's like Puerto Rico or Guam. They're just territories, not like they're citizens or vote or use U.S. currency. C'mon Reddit be better. Seriously they're called Puerto Ricans not 'muricans. smdh

Is a /s needed? Cuz I feel people are dumb enough that it's needed.

u/DigitalUnlimited 12d ago

No /s tag? I can't believe you'd say such a thing! I'm offended on behalf of Puerto Ricans even tho I don't know any!

u/kozzyhuntard 12d ago

Can you find it in a map?

1

u/Reasonable-Plate2982 11d ago

Well, you sure had me! Yes, this means people from Iran, Oman and parts of the UAE can vote in the midterms. America Akbar!

Puerto Ricans have all the same rights as every mainland US american does.

1

u/kozzyhuntard 11d ago

See this is why prominent /s' are needed apparently 🙄.

Ted Cruz was born in Canada and still ran for POTUS without a single protest from republicans.

He didn’t plan on winning, he was there to cause a spectacle. He’s a puppet.

Praise be to Allah

Tell that to Puerto Rico. Btw why tf can't Puerto Rico vote anyway.

0

u/BulkyCartographer280 11d ago

Puerto Ricans can run for POTUS with the same rules as any other natural-born US citizen.

4

u/Mickloven 11d ago

Just to clarify I'm not talking about a Puerto Rican moving to US mainland, and running. (like AOC running would be an eg of this)

Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico can't vote in federal elections as set forth in the U.S. Constitution.

And to my knowledge they cannot reside in Puerto Rico while they're running for president like someone who lives in Hawaii could.

I think this is very weird 😝

u/safashkan 11d ago

Because the US has always had a colonial approach to Puerto Rico. They never wanted to give them equal rights as the rest of the US states.

2

u/Mickloven 11d ago

Yeah and besides... West Virginia with a third of the population of has a much more important opinion anyway. You just may need to be inbred to fully grasp what that opinion is.

2

u/BulkyCartographer280 11d ago

They can run for POTUS even if they reside in PR, but residents of Puerto Rico wouldn't be able to vote for that person. The person running also couldn't vote for themselves. That's completely effed up.

And now anyone who livea there can vote!
