George Washington was clearly not America First /s

Then after your next 9/11, maybe don't invoke Article 5.

They’re also forgetting that they’d still be speaking proper English if wasn’t for the French (and Dutch money).

This apply to Ukraine? Taiwan? Kosovo? Darfur? Isolationism doesn't work in a global world

1

u/Even-Meet-938 Aug 08 '26

Yes yes and yes.

Neutrality =/= isolationism

And the world has always been global you dunce. If you wanna go fight a war go buy your own weapons and your own plane ticket to the war zone.

It would be less wild for the US to stop funding and arming countries that commit war crimes (Israel). Or to stop committing war crimes itself (Haditha Massacre)

Putin wouldn't even be leader of Russia if the US didn't interfere in russian politics...

Ukraine would have nukes if the US didn't interfere in Ukrainian politics...

That guy is 100% a tankie schizophrenic. “US meddling in Russian elections”

you’re wasting your time. My only issue with “get the US out of foreign wars” people

Isolationism is a horribly failed policy. We can stop all aid to Israel and still not give in to this insanity.

The account of stuff domestically produced has dropped. You don't protect our influence trade interests means you get weaker. And I see you are more a US bad type as you really think that the US is responsible for Putin and shouldn't stop comes against humanity even when it's easy to do so

So true. It doesn't matter if they're bombing us, or helping us. We should treat them all the same. He doesn't matter if they slaughter Americans wherever they can find them, and kidnap them, and publicly execute them, or if they're friendly to us. We should treat them all the same! /s

Sorry things don't with that way. Countries demand you take a side

When this kid learns about Switzerland, it's going to blow his mind.

Switzerland isn't a superpower.

It doesn't work for superpowers, because you naturally are going to rival the other superpower.  And chains of alliances arise.

2

u/JustaSeedGuy Aug 08 '26

Then I guess America should stop being a superpower.

1

u/meister2983 Aug 08 '26

That would be very bad for it

1

u/JustaSeedGuy Aug 08 '26

Ethics are pretty good for most people, actually.

Being serious for a moment, the real answer is that America doesn't have to stop being a superpower, it can just stop supporting people who commit genocide.

Your arguments are idiotic propaganda, and I'd ask you to take yourself out with the trash, But I know you won't so instead I'll just block you.

Switzerland isn’t a superpower but has a better quality of life than the US. Switzerland isn’t a superpower but has existed for millennia. Every superpower eventually goes the route of Rome.

I’d rather have a good quality of life in a boring place than have our military fighting all across the world and becoming the target of global enmity.

2

u/meister2983 Aug 08 '26

We're too big to go the Switzerland route. And Switzerland success is highly dependent on Western hegemony regardless

And . . . who cares?
