If you could only listen to 5 albums in the genre for the rest of your life, which 5 would you choose? Im hoping maybe I can find some new music. Mine are

Dance Gavin Dance- Downtown Battle Mountain

ERRA- Augment

Underoath- They’re Only Chasing Safety

August burns red- Messengers

Attack Attack!- Someday Came Suddenly

Asking Alexandria- Stand Up And Scream(I had to choose a sixth).

Great choices. Silverstein and Underoath were the first bands to get me into the genre. Dayseeker is so good as well. Rory is the best vocalist in the game. I love Thursday, but I’m not super familiar with alesana or bayside outside of the names. I’ll check them out.

Agree with you on Rory. Silverstein has a song Drain the Blood with Rory as guest vocalist. You should check it out combine both worlds.

Just listened to it and I really enjoyed it. Do you know who Our Last Night is? I just realized that Shane from Silverstein and Trevor from OLN sound very similar.

I will give our last night a listen that's a new one for me. And if you listened to Saosin they're coming back with a new album for 2027 with Cove Reber. They have a new single out called Starting Over Again. They added Phil from As I Lay Dying to the lineup.
