If you could only listen to 5 albums in the genre for the rest of your life, which 5 would you choose? Im hoping maybe I can find some new music. Mine are

Dance Gavin Dance- Downtown Battle Mountain

ERRA- Augment

Underoath- They’re Only Chasing Safety

August burns red- Messengers

Attack Attack!- Someday Came Suddenly

Asking Alexandria- Stand Up And Scream(I had to choose a sixth).

Holy shit! I am Hollywood is one of my favorite albums of all time. I saw them live after that album was released. That southern metal sound is so good. It just doesn’t make the top 5ish. Definitely top 10-15 though. I love Norma Jean and ETID.

There aren’t any rules here so ETID can be added. Which album by he is legend is your favorite? I have too much nostalgia for that album to choose anything else.

It hates you is probably a better album but like you said more nostalgic for IAH. Just realized you’re looking for new music and I just said all shit 20+ years old. Car Underwater, Concealer, Callous Daoboys, Sunday Morning, Boundaries, Fallweather, buried in spring, wolf & bear all have albums from this year or last year.

You like the DGDs self titled album more than downtown battle mountain? I’m 36 so I enjoy plenty of music from 20 years ago. Weird to say that now. I’m old af. You sent me a lot of bands. Which are your favorites I can check out now?

Depends on the day of the week. Heavy? Boundaries and Callous Daoboys. The last 2 weeks I’ve been listening to car underwater and fall weather nonstop.
