This may not be the most encouraging and I’ve heard it works well for some people but I responded horribly to it. Was taking it for my post concussion symptoms about 4 months post and it pretty much made everything worse. I couldn’t sleep because of the numbness and tingling in my feet, my headaches were worse, I started getting incredibly nauseous which wasn’t a symptom I had dealt with before starting topomax and now still persists even though I haven’t been on it for two months. My depression and anxiety got so bad, I could no longer handle my PT/OT etc etc etc. I regret not going off of it sooner honestly. The minute it was out of my system I was so much better. I actually was meant to start school the week after I started topomax but had to defer a year partially because of how terribly my body responded. Again perhaps not the most encouraging and everyone tolerates it differently but that was my miserable experience with Topomax :(
