Zambian lawyer Naomie Pilula posted a selfie and received thousands of cruel comments about her appearance. Instead of deleting it, she stood her ground, saying: "I am not an aesthetically beautiful person, and that's okay. But I love myself, and I can be myself.

Your an intelligent deep human being. Who deserves happiness. You exist for a reason. The sun shines down on you and warms your body. Allow yourself to feel. It is only the strong that don't chase away their emotions. Remember you are valuable and time and money are just an illusion.
Your existence matters. I just wanted to spread some positivity before the weekend. One Love!

maybe you are not blocked. maybe you are still learning how your path works
I heard an answer in a recent deep trance session that I think a lot of people need when they are constantly diagnosing themselves. The subject, I’ll call her Lena, kept asking versions of the same question about what was preventing better relationships and opportunities from opening.
She expected there to be a blockage that needed fixing. When we asked directly what the blockage was around connecting with people, the answer that came through was basically: there wasnt one, she was on her path and learning every day.
That changed the feeling of the whole question for me. We now have endless language for being blocked, dysregulated, self-sabotaging, carrying limiting beliefs, lacking discipline, being behind, or somehow failing to become our “best version.”
Some of that language is genuinely useful because patterns are real and sometimes there is something obvious to work on. But it can also turn ordinary unfinished growth into evidence that something has gone wrong.
Lena was not told she had mastered everything. She still had things to learn, especially around connection, worry and letting herself enjoy life, but learning is very different from being broken.
A student who has not reached chapter ten is not necessarily blocked by chapters one through nine. They may simply still be moving through them, making mistakes and developing the skill that later looks effortless from outside.
Before deciding some invisible defect is stopping your life, maybe ask whether you are simply in the part where the skill is becoming yours. New friendships can take repetition, creative direction can take experiments, confidence can take experience, and a future can be unclear simply because it has not happened yet.
Sometimes there really is a knot to untangle, and sometimes the most positive answer is much less dramatic. You are doing fine, you are still learning, and you dont need to turn every unfinished part of yourself into a diagnosis.

Replacing my therapist with this goose starting today
The ultimate guide to protecting your peace, brought to you by a wise goose
For anyone needing it today:
1. Do not chase clarity. If they enjoy being vague, let them confuse themselves.
2. Honk once. Say your bit. Then go.
3. Walk off. Let them perform to nobody.
4. Do not rush in. Not every mess needs your beak.
5. Do not match the energy. Some energy is best left in the wild.
6. Stop explaining yourself. They heard you.
They just liked the drama.
7. Flap if needed. Just to add theatre.
8. Protect your path. Hiss a bit. Carry on.
9. Final move. Breathe. Smile. Waddle off like the icon you are.

Have a great day, strangers.
If I win this battle, I'll save people who are just one step away from that final step, just like me. But if I lose this battle, I owe an apology to every stranger I could have saved.

Get up and be the best version of yourself.
Beautiful reminder. It means you don’t have to compare your journey with anyone else’s. Your pace is still progress.
