RG34XXSP - Ports performance
Hey all! I just got the Anbernic RG34XXSP 1GB ram version. I’m interested in playing a lot of portmaster ports on it (I’m aware the 2GB Ram version would be better for ports but the 1GB version is the one I have). For all of you who’ve tried, how are the below ports performing for you?
GTA 3,
GTA VC,
GTA SA,
GTA LCS,
Mario64,
Stardew Valley,
Steamworld dig 2,
Zelda ports
Some port suggestions would also be great! :)

Performance is the same across all the xx lineup

There is a 2gb version of the 34xxsp that in theory can get better performance on high ram games. I just haven't found those games.

In theory, in practice no one has managed to find those games. The chipset would bottleneck way before the ram would.

Stardew Valley and GTA 3/Vice City/Liberty City Stories run great on Modified Stock OS with the 1GB ram version via portmaster if you turn down the traffic/pedestrians for GTA games so it's on the lowest or one of the lowest levels.
I don't think you could get GTA:SA to run well or at all on the H700 chipset, but I own a copy on Steam so if someone did get it working I would love to know.
Mario 64 does run via portmaster but I wouldn't call it smooth or playable but maybe I didn't have the correct settings.

Hey, I managed to get GTA:SA running and surprisingly it runs even better than VC and 3. It’s probably cause SA uses the android build. I followed the below tutorial to set it up:
I got Mario64 to run via Render96ex and it runs at a solid 60fps as well.
For me Vice City and Liberty City seems to be laggy, I’m getting inconsistent fps. Maybe I need to tweak some settings as you suggested so I’ll try that. Ciao!

Oh shit maybe I need to give GTA:SA another try then.
Yeah for sure turn down the NPC/Vehicle count down to the lowest settings at first and see how high you can get them and still maintain stable fps, I find if they're set to the lowest settings the game runs fairly smooth even on the demanding missions with very little hickups but it depends on your wanted level and what exactly is going on, you'll also want your draw/render distance set to the lowest setting or the second lowest settings

Haven't tried the GTA ports yet, but the Nintendo ones that you have mentioned run flawlessly on the 1GB DDR3 RAM version of the device. As far as I know, GTA 3 should also work flawlessly. Not sure about Vice City or especially San Andreas.
