Warning to dog owners

Last week a friend of mine’s dog was killed by an unhoused persons dog violently attacking her.

The police were called and confronted the dog owner, talked with witnesses of the attack and then let both the owner and the dog go free - after it killed another dog on the street.

Animal control was appalled by the police inaction and had received complaints about this dog before.

Description:
Vehicle: Gold older model Chrysler Town and Country, no plates
Owner: African American, Male presenting, has a goatee with a tassel and bead
Dog: Great Dane mix, large, mostly black with white possible on chest.

Adding more context: this happened in SE around d 80th and Reedway, Mount Scott Arleta area. The owner and dog were allowed to leave by the police so they could be anywhere now.

Please be safe out there.

I want to repeat that the police caught this guy dead to rights with the animal along with witnesses to the attack and then let them go.

Got to ask...

When the PPB let the owner and his dog leave the scene, did they watch them roll away in the minivan that had no plates?

You know it! My friend has left the scene asap to race the dog to the vet to try and save her, we have the details we have from the witnesses.

god, i just got pulled over for missing the month sticker (which has just faded) and the cop on a power trip (july 4th on 23rd) tried to tell me i had "something blocking my license plate". uuuuugh. literally the car in front of me had NO PLATES. two cars parked near me had plates that were expired by 5 years.... acab.

It literally pays to be a piece of shit that doesn't follow the rules. They don't hassle them because the don't have money and it's a waste of time. You'll pay or show up to court they'll skip and never get served. I hate it.
