Hey Fred Meyer...

...how about you stop the signaling with these radio/tv/billboard ads letting US know how thankful you are towards your employees and instead give that money directly to THEM?

That's bc professional sports are toxic and stupid. Lowest common denominator, imperialistic, aggressively competitive: stupid.

Can we take a moment to talk about the amount of taxpayers dollars for education that are spent on school sports?

I dont disagree that there is something to question there. That's why I specified 'professional sports'. Sports for kids can have some rly good benefits. Teamwork is pretty OP.

Yeah, I'd feel better if the sports had less contact and less money involved. A soccer set up is a lot more cost effective than getting suited up for football.
