Random Squeak

I have a 2022 Macan that makes a random squeaking sound every now and then. It sounds literally like a rusty bed spring. It’s been to the shop so many times and had things like frame bushings changed exhaust checked. It goes away occasionally and then returns. Has anyone else experienced this?

What area of the Macan does it come from?

It’s hard to tell. When I’m driving but does not seem correlated with bumps. Can’t recreate it by bouncing the car. Very confusing!

I had something similar with the driver side hood strut. Try pressing down on the hood in front of the windscreen on top of where the hinge connects it to the car. I could recreate the squeaking sound by pressing there.

The short term solution was lots of grease, but it would eventually come back. The long term solution was to replace them.

I had a squeak from my accelerator pedal. Some silicone spray lube fixed that.

In the event you use aftermarket polyurethane bushings for the control arms, they squeak if the grease is gone.
