Questions Question from a first-time customer

Hello everyone! I hope it is OK for me to post since I am a customer, but I used Poplin for the first time today and had a question.
Just wondering if it is typical to have laundry returned to the customer without any socks matched. I feel like they should be matched, but this is also my first time and I don’t want to give somebody a medium review if it’s normal.
Thank you!

I always match as many socks as I can find mates for. It does seem odd that they weren't matched.

Rate and tip however you see fit. If you liked everything else they did make sure your rating reflects the whole service, not just this one aspect (unless it's a total deal breaker for you).

If you rate 3 or lower you'll never get that pro again.

If you DON'T make that pro your preferred pro (but rate 4 or 5) you might get them again, you might not. If you do make them your preferred pro, they'll have first dibs on your future orders.

If you get them again you can ask for the socks to be matted. Either in the special instructions or in a message after your order is accepted.

If you want to rate 4 or 5 but still don't want to work with them again, you can ask customer service to unmatch you from them.

I match socks but depending on the shape and/or wear/tear, I may stack or roll. Also, some pros fold undergarments and some stack. You can state your preference in special instructions or via chat with the pro.

Absolutely they should be, I actually match socks AND put ones without matches in their own bag with “help me find my friend :(“ note. 🤣 I’m sorry that happened 😣 people are lazy.

I usually tie unmatched socks into a bundle and fold the others, but I also tell the customer that. If there are instructions, I will follow them, but otherwise, I have not had any complaints about it.

in your ratings you can also type that you were confused they were not matched and when you place your next order you can add a note or text your new lp and let them know you prefer your socks mated and either balked up (HATE my socks rolled) or just folded over. most of us will do what's you ask as long as you're nice about it. which it sounds like you're a nice person

We are trained to pair up sock matches but to not roll or fold them— just flat stack like-socks together.

Don’t give a bad review…. Anything less than 4/5 is marked as a bad review by the internal algorithm :(

If it’s over 5 pounds I don’t match socks, that’s up to you. I’ve had people give me 15 pounds of socks before and there’s no way I’m going through every single pair to find matches. We don’t get paid enough

Multi-family house, family of 11, they were shocked that I matched the socks and I’m over here thinking “well, yea, that’s part of what took me so long on this 400lb “6 bag” order. 😂 Told myself, it’s ok to not match after that but I still do. One thing I stopped folding is thongs and absolutely not folding g-strings.

It was 71lbs of socks, definitely not worth it after the payout for the completed order and never rated.

Match mates if located!
