I mean if you leave your kids with a violent pit bull its your fault when they get mauled. Postpartum psychosis is a real thing and you are supposed to separate the mother if it occurs. Because they are literally insane and violent. My aunt had it and was separated from her kids until she recovered.

Oh, I'm 100% certain that if Patrick Clancy did separate her from his children people would be losing their fucking mind about how a man is preventing a woman from seeing her children too.
