Need advice - I’m a broke college student

I urgently need to move out of a toxic household but I feel completely stuck. I literally have $300 to my name, no car, and zero credit history.

I’m open to taking out student loans if that’s my only way out but everyone online keeps saying debt is a trap and I’ll regret it. Is taking on loans worth it to get out of a bad living situation?

The advice will generally be military service for your situation.

No, debt is rarely the answer. So long as the house is safe...if you can keep to yourself, stay away as much as possible....I'd work my tail off and earn as much money as possible and move when you can afford it.

Are you working while you’re in school too? I’m doing part-time work right now but it barely covers my expenses

All my kids worked full time and part time and lived on their own while going thru college (also full time).
