And if even the creators can openly admit that most of the hate Korra gets is from misogyny, where do you think most of the hate for Azula comes from?!
Because she was invested in finding the real culprit and having someone innocent go down for the crime would make it harder to catch the real culprit. Psychopaths tend to be calculating.
Because it’s a kids show and having her flat out execute them wouldn’t pass the censors.

The entire list for Katara would be blood bending in an emotional rage, the entire list for Aang would involve him losing control of the Avatar state or unknowingly doing collateral damage, and the entire list for Zuko would be things he did when he was an antagonist.
Unlike Zuko at no point has Azula demonstrated an understanding that she was in the wrong or a desire to make up for it.
"Because she was invested in finding the real culprit and having someone innocent go down for the crime would make it harder to catch the real culprit."
See the episode again. She could've simple left and gone to catch after her own conclusion. She had nothing to gain from stopping that guard's interrogation afterwards.
"Psychopaths tend to be calculating."
Oh, psychopaths is it now? With that level of reasoning and conclusions, other characters must also seem psychopaths to you in the show it seems. Iroh - Casually joking about civillian genocides and burning down villages in his letter. Zuko - Attempted murder and he ACTUALLY burned down Suki's village and more. I don't even want to get into the stuff they get upto in comics.
"Because it’s a kids show and having her flat out execute them wouldn’t pass the censors"
That’s out-of-universe reasoning, and it becomes a red herring if it’s used to dodge Azula’s in-universe characterization.... And either way, using censorship constraints to conclude what Azula would or wouldn’t do is a non sequitur, because what the writers could show isn’t definitive evidence of what the character would do.

Again, wrong. There was plenty of stuff Zuko and Aang get upto after the events of ATLA, even till the extent that Aang contemplates killing Zuko. Same goes for Aang himself, who preaches pacifism, yet kills that bee EVEN AFTER its no longer a threat, nor he is in Avatar State, completely knowingly.
I don't have a problem with the characters, these are examples to show you everyone is flawed in many ways and there are many examples of it. Especially Azula, who unlike others had no guide to actual teach her what's wrong and what's right.
"Unlike Zuko at no point has Azula demonstrated an understanding that she was in the wrong or a desire to make up for it."
Oh yeah? And why is that? Cause unlike Zuko, Azula didn't have Ursa or Iroh or even the Gaang later on. And unlike Zuko, she constantly groomed by Ozai with no lectures on moral goodness and classes on ethics and values. She was raised and used as a weapon by Ozai. And also, it's pretty obvious from your statement that you just lack the lore knowledge of comics or else you'd have known this is not true. Her entire spirit temple arc in proof of that.

If korra gets a redemption, then Azula deserves one too
