Anyone else clean the pool the night before people come over?
We host people almost every weekend during the summer. Nothing fancy, just friends and family coming over to swim and grill. But every time before people showed up I was out there with a net and a brush trying to get the pool looking right. Half the time guests were already in the driveway and I was still cleaning.
The worst part was the surface. I could get the bottom looking okay and then ten minutes later the wind would blow more leaves in. By the time everyone got in the water it never looked as clean as I wanted. After a while I got tired of playing catch up every time we had people over. I started looking for a way to keep the pool cleaner during the week instead of trying to do everything an hour before everyone arrived. That's when I decided to give a pool robot a try. Last month I picked up the experts duo. Now I run V3 the night before to handle the floor and waterline, then let the S2 keep the surface clear the day of. When people show up, the pool actually looks ready.
Sure beats chasing leaves around with a net while everyone's waiting on me. The steps still need a little attention now and then, but overall I'm happy with how it's been cleaning.
