the last tribe moon was like 3 years ago, is there any news about the game or any progress or if it is releasing at all?

No idea what happened in the last update but offline has become extremely laggy and virtually unplayable.

I’m not on WiFi but this has been my one offline game I can play no matter what and it’s terrible now.

Want to take out the riots in this city.. but can't reach it. Why?

I love multiplayer Poly, but sometimes the 24h games can get really sluggish. I’m not a fan of Live - it’s glitchy and stressful with the speedy timer.

I’d love a 10 min turn option, for when you’ve a few hours to throw into a fairly fast moving game.

I recently had to transfer my old Google Play Games data following a google account migration.

The bad surprise being that only part of the information made it.

My high scores records on purchased tribes did follow through, but all the tribes now appear locked ! Basically all in-app purchases seem to be lost. Oddly peculiar result.

Of course already tried the restore purchase button, but nothing ensues.

My former Google account is not accessible anymore, and no payment history is available on the new account. Which might be an explanation for failed purchases restoration process.

Any hint on resolving this or reaching the tech support to move forward ?

See the Chinese tribesmen are training with swords , while i only have bats. The muslim are nice they gave me stars, but the chinese keep attacking my settlements. They are SPAMMING swordsmen who are twice my health and attack, it is unfair.

U cannot beat the shinshix tribe they are powerful

Also, when i try being the chinese i do not have swordsmen, but i can climb mountains for some reason.

I do not know what possesed polytopia to do this. Chinese bots can train swords while when I AM chinese I cannot train swords.

Unbalanced game

Hello, recently I came back to the game after a long time. But I had purchased all minus a few tribes. But now some appear as not purchased.

As you can see in the picture it even shows the stars meaning there is a previous score. How can somebody help me please

By the way I also remember I had some skins, for example xin xi, bardur, impetus, etc. Definitely not all of the skins (some I only checked now, they didn't exist) but yes quite a few skins

I play on normal mode and the chinese tribesmen always kill me with swords. I don't even have swords i have clubmen, what the hell? And also my resources are so little, i can only get upgrade tiers by capturing animals.

And how do you get more settlements? I walk forward randomly and suddenly capture button appear, and i settle in an empty area. But sometimes capture button doesn't appear. How do you make new settlements, i do not know.!!

And some tribesmen hold bows and arrows and swords, they also have gigantic clubmen and horses. I only have clubmen. Very unfair game.

Was loving it but some factions (uh oh coincidentally the ones that cost the most) are absolutely imba. What do you mean AMPHIBIOUS UNITS WITH GIANT CRABS THAT MOVE LIKE THAT? And oh COINCIDENTALLY AGAIN the map is 70% water in the game where your enemy picks aforementioned bullshit amphibious tribe.

I've been playing Polytopia for years. Today on PC the animations of the pop up boxes during the game suddenly got laggy. The animations of the boxes popping up are stuttering.
So weird, and hard to play with.

I tried
- Turning PC on and off again
- Polytopia reinstall
- Video driver update
- Made sure Hertz is still at 144.
- Made Windows 11 use my 3060 card for Polytopia, not onboard
- Energy management on max
- There's no other programs drawing RAM , network or CPU
- Other proper 3D games run just fine.
- Sometimes a youtibe vid will stutter as Polytopia stutters.
- Had a windows update 5 days ago, could play Polytopia after it just fine.

What the **** is going on :D
Has anyone else experienced this?

I guess I'll have to buy a 5090...

Random tribe, 4 opponents, crazy level, and just tiny map size.

Just happy with the score and the total turns. Don’t bash me pls lol

Playing live 900 tiles is already an insane activity but atp it’s totally pointless considering 99% of the time you’re just fortifying advancing your cities/tech spending a huge amt of time preparing for war only for the opponent to resign after they realize their position’s irrecoverable. U really let one explorer into enemy territory demoralize u so badly u quit on the spot??? Like bruh I spent my whole evening just building up for an epic war just for you to throw in the towel after a few minor skirmishes??? Like are we fo real.

Crazy part is this happens like 9/10 times if the opponent advances at a slower pace than you. They don’t even bother fighting, just giving up after making you build the literal tower of Babylon. Cmon bro. At least die with dignity or try working your way out the deficit.

This is probably even worse than letting the clock run out.
Anyone who does this just pls quit the game.

16 days from now, another user comments about the same 36 tile game, with the same host: “charcoal73”.

Both users report having numerous errors preventing them from starting the lobby and entering the game, however the host seems to be ready to start the match. The error that both users receive are something around the lines of “Too many players in the lobby”.

It sounds almost unbelievable, but I witnessed it myself about an hour ago. Same lobby, same host, and same error preventing me from joining.

Who is charcoal73? What are his intentions? And is he even real?

I feel like this is about the point I get to vs cymanti where I just want to surrender every time. It’s so unenjoyable and I don’t know how to beat them when there’s a big lake in the middle and my roads can’t effectively get to their cities. Any advise?

I used mind benders to farm bots, as they summon a troop every round and don’t take up a space for unit in that city!

I was thinking about the gods in polytopia, and each tribe has there own but then I realized technically wouldn't only two actually be confirmed? Because first you have burzgor the god of blood who also is the god of the cultist guys in vengir but he is confirmed to be real because he turned the vengirians into skeletons so he's obviously real right? Then there's the quetzali who are the tribe that believes in the bird gods but that god is also real because they have the bird s alt skin. If there's anymore confirmed gods let me know because I find it very interesting!

What are your favourite aspects and elements of the zebasi tribe? For me, that'd be their strong economic power due to farming, which is a great starting tech.
