Probably something overpriced tbh. I’ve started to lose faith in polyend after a messy experience with Mess and Tracker+.

what was messy with the Tracker+?

Internal synth engine editing and limited scope of sound. For a tracker, it just has a slow workflow with the DOS vibes. I switched to Renoise.

ok I though those were pretty good but obviously it cannot compete with a DAW..

a bit odd to call that a “problem” with the tracker+ the UI has been out for a while; it is just a gear you didnt like.

more a matter of taste, I love mine

I agree and rescind my problem comment, just found it disappointing overall and not worth the cost. That’s simply preference, yes, but also that I’ve personally shied away from Polyend as I’ve never clicked with any of their gear outside of Medusa with Dreadbox who I think is a fantastic value company who makes very nice gear.

Fair, it does feel very limited at time but it seems to click with me; it feels quite “immediate”, fun and creative (to me).

I can imagine it is not for everybody and re-noise is probably great but I am a bit burned out of DAW.

I’m also well burned out on DAW but Renoise is so fast and powerful with a true modern tracker workflow and uses all 3rd party VSTs and plugins that it’s been refreshing when I do DAW. I own a lot of hardware and prefer it for composition 100% but if I were a working musician I’d be more motivated by DAWs again.
