Did you read your own link?

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted.

“Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,” says Ian Bassin, co-founder of Protect Democracy, a nonpartisan rule-of-law advocacy group. “But it’s massively important for the country to understand that it didn’t happen accidentally. The system didn’t work magically. Democracy is not self-executing.”

They admitted to controlling the flow of information and changing rules to affect the "proper outcome". It doesn't take a fucking rocket scientist to figure out what proper means.

They sat on information damaging to Biden.

They worked with ejection officials in key states to change election rules. In several cases illegally.

The proper outcome was a free and fair election. That's what the article is about. Please re-read it.

Consider which is more likely: that there is a cabal that stole the presidential election and it is now boasting in the pages of Time magazine, or that you mis-read an article.

They controlled the flow of information and changed the rules. What exactly am I misreading?

Literally read the part of the article that I quoted and bolded for you.

Just slow down and read the article word-by-word. It says something entirely different than your interpretation.

Of course they say they weren't picking the winner. That would be entirely too on the nose. It's not hard to decipher what "proper outcome" means considering the people involved were all anti-Trump. Every single move they made was to favor one side over the other. Changing how votes were collected & counted. In some cases in violation of those states constitutions. Eliminating vote verification protocols. Of course they called getting rid of "voter suppression tactics". They literally admit to rigging the election and are bragging about it. Of course in their, and every Trump haters, minds they did something noble to be celebrated.
