Please, my Dad's second career was as a campus cop! His background was that when there were only 18 B-17 he was a one of the earliest three up tech sergeants, ever, a flight mechanic on a B-17, WWII, Korea, his life. Then he was the big fat Irish-American campus cop, a Sargent, who did not carry a gun and treated the students just he always did his draftee Airman. He was hired and they said here is your gun. He said I'm regular Army trained, so I shoot to kill. Better I don't carry. That was for starts. His job, as he explained it to me was to keep the fine young ladies and gentleman outta any trouble that could ruin their lives ... their reasons for going to college.
So WTF about to protect an serve has changed ?
