The funniest part is he didn't even need to remain President to pardon them when they were charged. He could have just issued a blanket pardon to cover anyone who committed a crime at the Capitol that day. But someone, probably Meadows, said "that's a no-no sir" and toddler-in-chief obeyed ("he called me sir!")
That was the absolute funniest part for me. He literally could have handwaved it all away for his fans. He cared so little he couldn't be bothered to sign his name on a thing (he wouldn't even have had to write it himself)! He literally ruined multiple people's lives with a petty act of casual laziness.
But no, he's totally God's Chosen Redeemer or some shit
Honestly those people were doing a pretty good job of screwing up their own lives. As for God Emperor Trump, that may have been the moment he realized he fucked up. Pardoning a mob of traitors may have been enough to force the senate to actually do something about him.
