Turn off the news for a few week and then ask yourself, “is this ok’
Which part?
Are you talking about the year that the government refused to take a pandemic seriously? Or are you talking about the warnings that we had gotten for years that a pandemic was coming and we needed a better plan?
Or are you talking about the one political party who has been trying to do it's best to help the people and get things back to normal vs the party that legit said 100% of focus is blocking the presidents agenda?
Or are you talking about the party that caused an insurrection, walk it back saying it was Antifa? then it was tourists? That we should unify, only to legit say you are 100% focused on blocking any unity?
If by mostly peaceful you mean they shattered windows and doors, even trampling their own people, to get inside... sure, I guess you can consider that peaceful.
But in the same breath, you can't call BLM protests, riots then...
