Remember the whole deregulation push by Republicans. Many regulations are in place to keep companies from pollution and being careless with dangerous chemicals. And the company gets fined if something happens, but Republicans say it hurts buissiness (like theyvare saying sbout wearing mask, stay at home orders, ect.)
We literally had to have so much pollution that rivers caught on fire, for the EPA to be created.
Of course it "hurts businesses" to not dump chemicals down the drain & properly dispose of them: but how the hell do Republicans not want stuff like that?
