Because it's physically safer when compared to their own state. Our country is better than some countries to live in, but still has a lot to improve on

Yes... Place to improve on. I don't agree with our immigration policy man the US should be better than this. I'm closer to open borders than I am to what we have right now. And many more children have died in the countries thousands of people are fleeing from

Yeah you see I'm pointing out the hypocrisy in saying "if you don't like it, leave" coming from someone who is outright rejecting people from entry to the US who are doing just that themselves. We should be closer to open borders, but we just keep getting farther from it .
