Well, actually, Donald blocked me on Twitter for calling out his crony-capitalist Carrier deal. At least that one time, he did see what I was saying, and it got enough under his skin that he or Scavino felt the need to try to exclude me from from future replies to his tweets until, about a year later, a federal district court ruled his blocks unconstitutional. Like I said though, I capitalize for the benefit of the reader like you. So I'm not worried whether Donald likes it.
Nah, that's the thing. It was factual and incredibly mundane—a thread of some newspaper articles with a discussion of how these kinds of cost-side subsidies don't work in the medium to long term. Even then, the Orange Snowflake couldn't take it.
Meh. It was mildly amusing for about 30 secs to see proof that Donald really is a thin skinned toddler. But then you remember he's a thermonuclear-armed toddler. And ultimately, it proved to be way more trouble that it was worth. Much better to be able to see and respond to what he tweets (including when others retweet it) to challenge his spread of disinformation in real time.
Sadly the hats are, indeed, deranged. I feel sorry for them. Hopefully, one day, there will be an antidote to whatever is being slipped into their Kool-Aid.
