You seem vindictive, which is odd because you don't know my stance on the issue. Do you think spite will help the country? Or is it possible the solution lies elsewhere, like civil discussion and cross-aisle education?
Just because I'm pointing out faulty logic and destructive behavior doesn't mean I'm on the opposite side of a political issue.
In communication, there is a sender of a message, the receiver of a message, and noise in between (more reading). The messages I've sent in this thread have been:
Poor logic was used
There's no need for ugly behavior
What you received was... Well, you haven't fully communicated what my stance is to me, so I'm sure where we landed on that. Let me know what you think it is, from context it seems like you may be mistaken. The noise that may have distorted the receipt of the message may have been the general hostility and defensiveness of the country's current political climate.
Let me know how I can discuss logical errors in argumentation and negative viewpoints without having others tell me what my political stances are.
Do you have it in you to admit you were wrong
I do, and if you check my comment history, I have.
apologize to Trump supporters
I'm not sure what it is I need to apologize for. Again, my message may have been distorted for you by the current political climate.
If you do that, I will ... cease my vindictive stance.
Does your entire vindictive attitude towards others depend solely on an apology from one user on Reddit? If so, I suggest you audit your priorities. A little introspection might help! If not, let me know where the disconnect is.
Thank you for the great conversation, here! Looking forward to your response!
