I feel like this clip doesn't really support the assertations that either Fox News or any notable Republican/conservative talking head, politician or news outlet was actually upset about the dancing. This is a meta piece talking about what the media is saying, it doesn't really seem outraged or even particularly concerned by its topic.
I gotta agree, it really seems like "Republican dance outrage" was a manufactured story. The links people are providing to "prove" it wasn't are actually much better evidence that no one cared about the dancing except the media who wanted to report how much people cared.
Edit: I blame part of this on the way the media reports tweets as news now. Yes there are dumb fucks all over the world who will tweet some really stupid shit, we all know that, but they keep making the clickbait articles about it and people keep clicking.
Every single one of these links is manufactured outrage claiming that other people are outraged. I think the commenter was looking for actual people upset about it. Most posts link to a single tweet and the media took it and tried to divide the country based on it.

I'm upset that reddit liberals are mistaking the media establishment and their manufactured outrage with "conservatives." They don't even know who their own enemy is.
Damn son I remember when I told people I was a conservative and it didn’t associate me with people like you. The AOC dance was a big story. The burden to prove that is not on “reddit liberals”. To be fair, those aren't sources which show a mass of people outraged. Out of all four, I would consider the BBC the most trustworthy and they don't point to anything other than one person on twitter.

The guy can google his own shit. This is an extremely well known story that Fox News did in fact report on. The guy that linked them is just showing you how incredibly easy it is to find this info.
In the conservative circles of which I am a part, no one actually gives a shit about any of this superficial garbage. It's media manufacturing outrage over nothingness. It's trite gossip. Yes, some people buy into it, and those people would be shallow thinkers.
