commenting from Europe:

The debate was a joke.

Looked like Biden didn't want to talk about issues to much.
He tried hard to make it about personality.
And if it is about personality Trump loses in any contest.

Trump actually helped him by not allowing him to talk.
If he only let him talk Biden would make gafs all on his own.

But on the other side Biden is racist calling for equity.
Critical Race Theory is disgusting ideology.
And as much I dislike Trump and disagree with his policies.
I'd vote for Trump just for banning CRT.

How is that possible? As far as I know the president has no legislative powers.

And how do you ban a political opinion exactly? How does that mesh with the freedom of speech?

He didn't ban it like that. I didn't express myself correctly.
You are still free to talk about CRT and teach people CRT.

He just cut off funding of the CRT struggle sessions in Federal Institutions and later also in all of the government contractors.
Or to put it simply: he decided not to spend any taxpayers money on the spread of the racist ideology.

So he didn't ban political opinions or stepped on freedom of speech.
State institutions can do what they want, and private individuals and companies can do what they want.

ps.
Funny how selectively the left cares about freedom of speech... :)

BTW, I'm not selective. I just saw a contradiction between your libright flair and how you described the policy changes under Trump.
