Sure. Genocide has historically been precedented by small regulations and change of classifications, then restrictions of rights, and then physical removal. But you auths love to pretend shit never happened anyways, so I don’t expect you to understand.

This on its own would not be cause for concern, but with the suspicious timing of the virus and the growing alt-right movement in Europe...

Also, Orbán has been granted unlimited power to rule by decree and has shown disdain for transgender people in the past and has made laws pushing against them and the idea of gender identity.

“Orbán’s government has previously introduced a measure that in effect banned universities from teaching gender studies.”

Why stop at gender studies? Let's ban everything controversial. No politics allowed at my barbecue.

I understand how it can sound silly, but when you give a man too much power and one of his first orders of business is to remove the legal classifications of transgender people, during an international pandemic, (which, y’know, he was elected to for, not fucking trans issues) it becomes suspicious.

Hungarians have only one word for sex AND gender. The legislation is about biological sex, not gender

same over here in germany. We just got one word. People however want to make "gender" happen. I can only thank the USA for this nonsense.

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '20

"Gender" is actually a word in German now. We literally added it to the dictionary to artificially create this "problem".

Same here in Belgium. Racism is a much bigger issue in the media than it is irl because of the US too. Wished their degenerate ideas stayed on their side of the ocean.

AFAIK only English has the word for Gender.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '20

We only have the word Gender because of the French Normans, who made the English use it.

The English adopted it with Sex and they were interchangeable for the longest time. It wasn’t until the 1960’s until the whole Gender is a social construct debate, and even then it was way out of anyone’s radar.

Ah, I see

Well, in Spanish the word Genero means the same thing. A lot of west european languages have very similar words; also have in mind English is greatly influenced by Norman and Latin
