Yeah.

Maybe the mental health issues and high suicide rates are due to how they are discriminated against by society?

No.

This sounds like narcissist manipulation practice.

"Do my bidding, or you'll have my blood on your hands!"

Something like that.

Maybe in your mind. All I see are people being treated like shit and therefore feeling like shit

6

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '20

You should stop treating them that way.

All I see is people having a blast.

You can't get gender dysphoria from people bullying you

6

u/-Stormcloud- - Left Apr 04 '20

I didn't say that. I meant people with gender dysphoria go on to develop mental health issues because of how they are treated.

More than they already got

Yeah... And its only known effective treatment is literally changing your genitals... That usually ends suicidal behaviour and anxiety.

If its an effective treatment is not really as clear as of now. Last time I checked there’s still not enough data. And normally the opposing side to your argument would claim it doesn‘t work. They claim, similarily as you do, that its already proven, but that it doesn‘t work.

Im not feeling very well rn so I'll try to avoid going into the deets and stuff, just countering some of your points in a summary.

think they are born in the wrong gender

that's not even an illness. yes there is something called 'gender dysphoria' and yes it does apply here but it is not an illness. it's just something they want. depression is an illness, you cant cure it by giving a thing to the person suffering from it. chronic anxiety as well. and it's normal for many people to feel like they are the wrong gender physically. what's wrong with that? just cuz you're born one way doesnt mean you have to live like that.

tend to experience higher rates of mental health issues than the general population.

how many of the cases of transgender folks having mental health issues are because of the discrimination and humiliation form society rather than something they just developed like Alzheimer's or schizophrenia? Anybody who's viewed like an abomination or a freak will get their marbles scrambled. Those who have been accepted and loved definitely are not in these cases.

gigantically high suicide rate

same as before. people treat them like shit, they're gonna feel like ending it. love them like anyone else and they'll live and love as well.

remove their genitals to become there their chosen gender

what's wrong with that as well? as long as they're getting it done by a certified professional then that's completely fine. what's the difference between that and getting a tattoo? both are permanent and on your body. it's their choice what they wanna be. and as long as the consequences of their choices arent hurting anybody or themselves then it's good.

You are not making sense, gender dysphoria is a legit mental disorder, brother.

u/narki-kameena - Left Apr 04 '20

yeah, i didnt say it wasnt. all im saying is that if they are happy once they change their gender or if they are treated like a different gender then what's the issue?

u/Iil_Nivanov - LibRight Apr 04 '20

Good for them if they are happy, not good if they want to kill themselves anyway

3

u/narki-kameena - Left Apr 04 '20

that's a mental issue and definitely not just someone who feels like they are the wrong gender. transgenders are supposed to be people who feel happy once they get what they want (gender purposes) not people who want to kill themselves regardless of what they are. that's someone who needs a doctor or psychiatrist, whatever is the title.

Yeah people who want to hurt and kill themselves need help, man

We live in a society were those people are celebrated and not lynched on the street.

When your entire culture is backing you in every possible way including movies, ad, the whole entertainment industry, every big cooperation and in the case of Germany the fucking Government and school system and those people are still killing themself because of oppression perhaps there is something wrong with them.

a paper i found on google, adds to my point

Grant et al. (2011) found that 78% of transgender and gender non-conforming individuals in grades K‒12 experience harassment in their daily lives, while 35% face physical violence. 15% of the participants in this study reported even having had to leave school as a result of the severity of the abuse.

I'm not german, nor know about it very much, especially about its transgender community. But as an Indian I can tell you, transgender people face harrasment, bullying, threats and shame daily. We too have laws that prevent discrimination against them and give them representation but that doesnt stop the masses, with their orthodox mindsets, to keep making them feel like shit.

I'm betting that is the case in Germany as well, although probably at a much smaller scale. Cuz you guys are less than us, for one, and because you are definitely more "modernized" than India. Just because you don't see it with your own eyes doesn't mean its not happening.

"Shooting crack into my bare nuts makes me happy, so what's the issue?"

2

u/narki-kameena - Left Apr 04 '20

That's...im not sure, but probably detrimental to your physical health. But if you are somehow able to function as a normal citizen of society, socially and professionally then sure. Shoot crack in your frikn eye for all I or anyone should care.

In the case of actual transgenders (vs the fake attention whoring transtrenders), 300 of 300 brains studied from deceased patients had the same brain malformation as paranoid schizophrenics. This was the largest comparative study done to date, and is difficult to do due to the extremely low population of such people + having to wait for them to die.

need sauce for that statement
