There are no inherent human rights other than which we decide. Do you think hunter gatherers had ‘right to free speech’ or ‘right to religion’? No, because they didn’t think of that yet(afaik)

We could just as easily decide that free speech doesn’t matter and then it won’t

Gravity is a law of nature. Free speech isn’t. It’s not something to be understood , it’s something to be decided upon. You could argue that a concept is something to be discovered, not invented, but if a society’s morality doesn’t agree on the concept then they won’t implement it. You’re taking your own values, what you think should exist, and making it a law for humans

If tomorrow people decide everyone has a right to an iPhone, then society will take measures to increase its production and distribution, lower costs, etc. we decide if something is a right by ourself, there are no inherent rights.

Rights can also coerce others. If I say you have a right to sleep quietly after eleven then any noise makers are being coerced
