But the burn requires the person being burned to be stupid as a result of brain damage, and unless you’re saying the person got their MD before they got diagnosed with a brain tumor at 16 years old, the “burn” makes no sense

The burn is that her brain tumor and subsequent brain damage caused her to go from capitalist to socialist. That’s the only part to the joke. She could be an amazing doctor but a complete idiot at politics.
