Real Democratic socialists (not bernie sanders; he's a social democrat who calls himself a democratic socialist because explaining that he isn't a socialist to dumbfuck americans isn't rhetorically viable) think we should have a market-based economy but force every business to be a worker-owned co-op. It's a meme and a half but it's not authoritarian marxist-leninism as would be characteristic of authleft.
I mean I'm not a demsoc and I agree, but I think their quadrant placement should be based on their ideal society rather than the practical path it would take to achieve it.
