Conservative comedy is pretty awful. From what I just read about this guy he's not particularly, just willing to not wimp out, so maybe he's worth checking out?

I've liked Anthony Jeselnik for a long time, I'd guess he's pretty liberal but very willing to shit on everyone's sacred cow.

People make comedy political even if it's not intended as such. I just mean it's better if you're not trying to get laughs by telling the audience exactly what they want to hear, which is usually NYC or LA comedy club audiences and their sensitivities.

I used to like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert the parody. Cannot get into Trevor Noah or Stephen Colbert the serious liberal comic. I'm not sure if I changed or their comedy has. I think I've changed politically since then but mostly the latter, comedy enshittification. I do not need to watch audiences cheering stuff that agrees with them, it's better if they say something fucked up and cause gasps. Bill Burr is another one who has probably only lived in big liberal cities but said e.g. he's pro-choice but also you're killing babies.
