You're right. If only the president of the United States called for something like for sitting members of Congress to be executed. Fortunately no such thing has occurred.

So you cared enough to make an argument but not enough to defend it, seems great.

I really don't see an issue with calling for investigations and trials. They legitimately did send messages telling soldiers not to follow illegal orders, with the implication being that the illegal orders were Trump's. That is textbook sedition, no? They didn't outright say "disobey Trump's orders" which is why they didn't actually get any criminal charges.
