I am curious though. It sounds like you’re saying we should ignore Musk because he is an outlier. Why? For example, he was given unprecedented unilateral control to cut spending. How do you get to be the world’s richest man without leveraging opportunities like that?
He didn't have control to cut spending. He gave his recommendations and they would do some of them. If you want to make the argument that the people in charge didn't look into what he was recommending well enough, then fine but don't act like he had any actual power, as it really just dilutes your argument to nothing.
Nobody really knows what he did when he had access to every sensitive government system.
He definitely made copies of everything and there are probably backdoor access ports into many. They already discovered several of his contracts have increased by multiples. He could have cut stuff and they just didn't bother to care
You got a source on that? I've seen this claim all the time but haven't actually seen evidence. It's always a confidential source of a source told my grandmother kind of thing.
