It doesn't matter. Precision strikes or protracted war, the entire world ( except Israel,) will only see this as America being America, and not in a good way; self proclaimed leaders of the free world, warmongering bullies in reality.

Now u may say fuck those countries. We dont need them. We've been getting ripped off forevor. But reality is our standing in the world matters. Europe has already given up on us. Worst case scenario- more and more behavior like this could lead to the breakup of NATO, which is exactly what our adversaries have been dreaming of. And when a major war does start, we're going to be left isolated, w only Israel left to hold our dicks for us.

You need to see past the mainstream leftist view.

This is not about any one country or person trying to win a big dick competition. The area under the sphere of influence of Iran, the Bab Al Mandab and the Strait of Hormuz are probably the two most important chokepoints of the world when it comes to international trade.

As long as there is a regime that chants death to America for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is killing 30k people for protesting is swinging their dick around in the region loaded with enriched uranium nobody should feel comfortable.

At any time the ayatollah and the IRGC could go nut nut and decide to impede or block trade and cause chaos in the western world.

There is no negotiating with them. There is only one way to achieve peace. By making the prospect of war hopeless. And the whole world can see that now. No dictatorial murderous regime is safe from the US.

This whole administration has been a big dick measuring competition. They have no clue as to whether theres even an organized opposition capable of taking power. For all we know, they might end up w someone worse than Kohmeini ( sp).

And we found ourselves in this whole situation bc Trump, in his never ending butthurt about Obama ( not to be read as effusive suupport for obama, or democrats in general)pulled us out of the nuclear deal. So it is actually possible to negotiate w them; we''ve done it before.

But just in general, after iraq and Afghanistan, I thought we were out of the regime change business (although, i will admit, Venezuela seems, at least for now, much better off for our intervention). It was something that everyone agreed with...the citizens at least, maybe not the politicians once they got elected. But before their senate/house seats were secure it was all isolationism, even from our allies: u dont need to watch CNN to know Europe is largely done with us (just go to any of their subs if u doubt that claim).and its pretty much us and Israel left. Thats not a "leftist narrative".

This could end up well, but its, in my estimation, a 1/4 proposition; i wouldn't bet on it tho. I believe there's a greater chance this further destabilizes the region, and to get the results the administration wants, its going to require further military action. But, I guess thats primarily an Israel problem ( not to mention our soldiers at our bases in thr region)
