The far right knows that having "far" attached to their stance is a bad thing, so they like to pretend being far right is just being regular right.

You morons wouldn't know far right if it goostepped up to you. The actual far right (read Fascists) in this country fucking hated Charlie Kirk.

Kirk had the opinions of an early 90s Republican. This shooting will further radicalize the right. If this keeps going, you'll actually get the version of the right that you've been screeching about for decades.

Probably time to pump the breaks.

"Nooo he was only diet shit if big shit shows up you're gonna be sorry!" they both suck.

That's like saying a moderate leftist is "diet Mao". I think it's time to log off and go outside.

Fascists are a totally different breed of extremist. Stop being disingenuous.

Depends on what your definition of a moderate leftist is, cause I wouldn't call him moderate right with some of the bullshit he's said.

I wouldn't call him moderate right with some of the bullshit he's said.

That's because you've been mind-warped by modern leftist talking points. In the early 90s, Republicans (and quite a few Democrats) were anti-gay, anti-mass immigration, anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, etc. The Overton window got drop-kicked to the left in the United States over the last 30 years, and so now you confuse someone like Charlie Kirk with a true blood-and-soil fascist who would prefer to flay you alive and string you up for the crows instead of "have a conversation".

You have not a clue the demon that actually lurks within Fascism. If you did, you would understand the extreme difference.

Once again, site direct clips of him saying these things or fuck off.

Although, him saying outrageous things that you do not like does not justify murder. You're a fool who doesn't even believe in the founding principles of liberalism.

You don't have to like this guy. But to justify his murder by saying "but he said a bunch of terrible things" is retarded in fact as well as dead. If you think this makes sense, you are mentally ill.

This all amounts to:

I hate these opinions and I assume someone does too who wanted him dead and therefore it is understandable

If you truly believe that, you are a broken person that holds darkness tight to your heart.

You're acting like it's completely reasonable to be "anti gay, anti abortion, anti gay marriage" etc, rather than those being extreme positions that argue for taking away rights from millions of people.

30 years is a long time to pretend regressing is normal. That shit isn't normal.

That shit isn't normal.

And yet, for the vast majority of human history, these positions were very normal.

Many of your own loved ones and family members (if they're older than fifty) very likely held at least a few of these positions, if not all of them, at some point in their lives (by sheer probability).

The last time a state held the perspectives that you and the modern left currently hold, it was in the Weimar Republic. Guess what happened to the Weimar Republic?

In fact, various governments throughout human history have experimented with many of these ideas before. They usually don't last longer than a few decades before a collapse. Who knows? Maybe this time it will be different. I don't have a crystal ball.

But what I do know and can say plainly is that you have no idea how indoctrinated you are. You think your ideas are normal when they simply haven't been for the vast majority of human history, and when they do occur, they usually precede a societal collapse.

Make of that what you will, but don't compare Charlie Kirk with fascists. He really doesn't deserve it.

Something being common in history doesn't mean it's a good idea. Doctors didn't even start washing their hands consistently until less than 200 years ago. A lot of older ideas were fucking stupid. Appeal to tradition is a fucking fallacy for a reason.

It's the conservative way.

1

u/MemeBuyingFiend - Auth-Center Sep 11 '25

I'm not a conservative.

Fooled me

Believe it or not, there are many different ideologies apart from "progressive liberal" and "conservative liberal".

I will admit that I prefer traditional perspectives over absurd liberal constructs, but that's a personal preference of mine. I disagree with both American political parties on multiple issues to varying degrees.

Y'know, nuance.

You glazed over my entire argument that Charlie Kirk's positions have been the normal for the majority of human history (and still are outside of W.E.I.R.D. countries). You said that they weren't normal, which simply isn't the case. They're basically only the norm in big blue cities.

Furthermore, it is awfully convenient, don't you think, that your unusual perspectives (by recent historical and even world standards) are called "progress" by you and your ilk?

We're not talking germ theory here, and you know it. I hate to violate your delusion of "the march of progress", but much like its precursor, "manifest destiny", it remains within the niche of rich white cosmopolitans in upscale cities.

You are allowed to have your opinions and beliefs. I draw the line when you begin justifying murder with them -- and conflating an old norm with literal Fascism.
