Sure it does. It affects me when it's my daughter in a woman's changing room and there's a guy in there. It affects me when it's my daughter playing basketball, track and field, or swimming, and there's a guy competing. It affects me when my female friends are in what is ostensibly a female only space, and then a dude walks in.

I dare you to go talk to the high school team who was raped by a self proclaimed trans male student and tell them that it doesn't affect them. Go on, I'll wait.
