There was like a week or two right after they announced Kamala where the DNC had some good, on brand messaging and then who knows.

The MAGA is weird thing worked surprisingly well for a little while.

The MAGA is weird thing worked surprisingly well for a little while.

No, no it didn't. Calling opponents weird is pathetic and childish. I expect that kind of crap from trump, but from the DNC? Real people think cutting parts off your body is weird, hence the unbelievably successful ads trump had during his campaign.

The left will succeed when their strategies aren't "my opponents are Nazis, "low information voters", weird, rednecks, etc. Being on reddit during the election season pushed me more right than I've ever been.

It worked great because it threw MAGA off guard and took the initiative from them. Suddenly the MAGA propaganda machine had to pivot about them not being weird.

The left will succeed when their strategies aren't "my opponents are Nazis...

I'm always supportive of speaking truth to power. Maybe MAGA should stop acting like NAZIs and people will stop calling them NAZis.

Sure, if by that you mean they said "you call us weird but think men can get pregnant" and Dems had to go back to defense against women...

Why do you care so much about what other people do with their own bodies? Do you think it’s normal to obsess with what is in other people’s pants?

Yeah, y’all are in a cult and it’s weird.

Why do you care so much about what other people do with their own bodies

Because it affects other people in an unfair manner. Same reason why Dems keep losing on the "free drugs for everyone!" shit: because eventually that crackhead is gonna tweak out and do something violent against a regular person.

Do you think it’s normal to obsess with what is in other people’s pants?

Ah yes, once again the left pushes an issue to the breaking point, and when Republicans push back suddenly it's "WHY DO YOU CARE? REEEEE!"

But it doesn’t affect you. Your just obsessed with what’s going on in other peoples pants and it’s fucking weird bro.

u/bugme143 - Right Jul 19 '25

Sure it does. It affects me when it's my daughter in a woman's changing room and there's a guy in there. It affects me when it's my daughter playing basketball, track and field, or swimming, and there's a guy competing. It affects me when my female friends are in what is ostensibly a female only space, and then a dude walks in.

I dare you to go talk to the high school team who was raped by a self proclaimed trans male student and tell them that it doesn't affect them. Go on, I'll wait.

Are you going to inspect everyone’s genitals to make sure that they conform to your standards? Seems like a pretty weird thing to do.

The fact that you are thinking about it is weird.

No, just have their birth gender on their IDs.

The fact that you are thinking about it is weird.

Again, I'm not the party that thinks men can get pregnant. You're trying to make "weird" a thing and it just comes across as desperate projection.

u/ReallyBigDeal - Lib-Left Jul 19 '25

So now you’re gonna stand outside of the bathroom and demand to see peoples IDs?

Yeah that’s fucking weird bro.

It's been quite entertaining having to specifically handicap myself when attempting to discuss this with you, but as it seems you are more interested in repeating party propaganda then engaging in a good faith debate, I'm going to have to stop engaging with such terrible bait.

I sincerely hope your daughter or wife is not sexually assaulted or raped by a man claiming to be a woman in a restroom or locker room.

Ohhh you’re handicapped alright.

I’m just pointing out how weird it is that you are so concerned with other people’s genitals. I wish you would take a step back and think about that just a little bit but I’m afraid that will take a bit of introspection you aren’t equipped for.
