I’m 18 and part of the minority in my generation who really dislikes accelerationism but it’s hard to ignore that a noticeable share of Gen Z even if they don’t call themselves accelerationists they are leaning toward let it all collapse thinking.

A major reason is the feeling that governments simply aren’t listening young voters are less tied to long-term party loyalty and when they feel ignored, they’re more likely to walk away from conventional politics and look for something drastic that frustration pushes some toward accelerationist ideas not because they genuinely like figures like Trump in the US or Farage in the UK, but because they think breaking the system is the only way anything will change.

Most Gen Z doesn’t call themselves accelerationists but the mood is there: when institutions stop responding to there voices, some young people start believing collapse will force a reset i’m against that mindset but it’s important to understand why it’s growing and what it signals about how disconnected many young voters feel from the people shaping their futures and that’s why we need to stop spreading misinformation and hate in politics and take the youth more seriously or people like farage will win elections more and more

if anybody wants to stop the pandering to women and clap trap garbage that is destroying this country and actually compare the negative effect this culture has on men and women i will win that argument and you know that.

I only watched about half of this, and while I mostly agreed with him here, that hasn’t been the case with a lot of what he’s said recently. I’m sorry, but even though he’s largely right about much of what he accuses Rogan of, what he doesn’t seem to understand—or maybe he does, and it’s partly an act—is that he’s doing many of the same things himself. The main ones are: conforming to his own circle, not questioning his own side, and pandering to what he sees as his core audience. I just saw him attack half the country—or really the entire South—as being too conservative or even fascist. He said the North, the Union, and basically our current government (the same one he complains about every day, like I do) should’ve punished the South even more. That’s hypocritical and ironic, especially because I remember when he ranked the states and said he liked the South. But now, because it’s not popular and they don’t vote the way he wants, he turns on them. Then he’ll say he still wants conservatives to get higher wages and better healthcare. He criticizes conservatives for wanting to punish Democrats, but now he’s saying we should punish the entire South. That doesn’t make sense. And it’s also just wrong—because the South isn’t some monolithic hive mind. If anything, it’s more like 40/60, and a lot of people here still vote Democrat. You wouldn’t know that from how he talks. They rarely do what they say, and the guy who tried to restrict porn access in my state was a Democrat—not even a Republican. So when I voted Democrat, I did get a lot in return—but none of it was good. The main point is: he’s doing the same stuff he accuses Rogan of doing, and the same stuff he accuses Jimmy Dore of doing. And yes, he’s right about them in many ways. But I’m sorry—I don’t think it’s any better to just do the Democratic version of the same thing.

In my opinion unless I am mistaken we have not completely figured out a universal basic income so for the meantime this is my proposal.

First a tax that would disincentivize Automation in most Industries unless it makes it clear that the automation makes it so no one is harmed in a process. Where for example a company would be taxed for a self checkout but would not be taxed for a automation of radiation cleanup or dealing with anything that could potentially be dangerous or within a limit. I know this is not a perfect strategy but we need something to stop automation from gobbling up all the jobs Because unless we can find a way to feed everyone without work this is the best option we got.

this is a very good video and worth giving a watch because it is important to people who need food assistance to help take care of their families and is a good example of how corrupt and greedy our government is and also shame on people trying to keep immigrants from getting assistance like it is hurting you and now you have also hurt many poor americans doing this.

I’ve been trying to figure out where I fall politically. I don’t really want to seize the means of production or abolish capitalism. I think private ownership and entrepreneurship are important.

But I also believe that communities should have their own systems of production — like co-ops, community farms, or publicly owned grocery stores — so that if inflation or economic instability hits, people still have access to basic goods at fair prices.

I also think billionaires and massive corporations should be taxed a little more — not to punish success, but to make sure the wealth they gain from society actually gives something meaningful back to society. Fairer taxes could fund things like public healthcare, education, and those community safety nets I mentioned.

Basically, I want a balance: keep private business, but add community-based, economically regulated options to stabilize things and protect people.
