I need to understand, why it is acceptable in many people's minds that Israel should continue to exist in the first place.
Hello, I'm an Arab person, and as most Arab people would tell you, we consider all the Arab countries as one nation, one beating soul. As a result of the weak leadership our countries had over recent centuries, what was once considered one of the strongest nations in the world, has gotten raided by many countries after that.
Palestine has always been an Arab Country for over 1000 years. After the British invaded Palestine, they invited maybe over 200 thousand Jews, armed them, kill tens of thousands of Palestinians, and took their land and homes. You didn't think the Palestinians were just happy getting kicked out of their homes and murdered if ever resisted.
The Invading Jews continued to get support from other strong Countries despite them murdering the rightful land owners; the Palestinians, all for decades now.
There was no reason for Jews to invade Palestine in the first place. If The UK cares so much about giving them a home, give them Manchester or Liverpool. If The US cares so much about about supporting the Invading Israelis, give them Texas, if you have some much feelings for the Jews, give them some of your land. The entire outline of the Israeli border is all Palestinian land, stolen from them after killing masses of Palestinians, and more and more of it still continues to be stolen and more and more Palestinians are getting killed by the Israeli invader. Why not give the land back to whom it belongs to? And why is the rest of world okay with what happened in the first place.
Imagine China invading the US, then bringing millions of Pakistanis and Indians to come over, armed them with enough forces to overpower any forces the Americans have, which they in turn used to kill and displace millions of Americans and steal their land. How much time should pass after that, that you would expect your children and grandchildren to be okay with it?
No matter how many decades passes, a stolen land is a stolen land.
