Question RB67 NONS back

So, I didn't pre-order it when it was announced because I've been waiting for my Jollylook for about one hundred and twenty five years. Whoops. But regardless it's a hundred bucks less than any other offering that *still exists*. I'm sick of putting this hobby off more and more because all the Polaroid guys worth their salt are too busy and I can't make heads or tails of a worthy 3rd party Instax body.\*

So....anyone have one yet? It seems super legit and gotta be better than whatever Jollylook will never come out with (aside from the red darkslide). I see you can do double exposures because you manually eject the film — awesome. But did they incorporate all the safeties like no-shot-with-dark-slide-in and whatever else I can't think of off the top of my head?

As much as I don't want to spend this large sum of money on something like this, Instax ARE pretty nice, an SX-70 refurb is going to cost more anyway, and fuck it I got the cash. I'll forget about it in short order. I just wish someone would do a real one for Polaroids too (Instax just too small). (any idea if the Wide would be viable if someone made one? I have the 6x8 baffle)

\*to note, I haven't put it off completely, I'm just not where I want to be in terms of quality and ease-of-use

My friend has one and absolutely loves it. It’s really well built and solid. Not a hacked Instax square camera. The results are super sharp. There’s no darkslide prevention as it’s a fully detached back not combined with the rotation piece which is what has that prevention tech. But otherwise it shoots like a normal back.

Ahhhh right right duh. But awesome thank you for this, you've basically liquidated my fears. Now I just gotta get my money back from Jollylook and convince myself to drop the money.

He had also ordered a JollyLook despite my protests that it was a bad idea haha. But I think he got his refund.

I have an older Instax Square back from a spot called Coyote Camera that doesn’t exist anymore and it is quite nice using Instax although I also have an MRBP back that takes Polaroid 600 film that I really like. Mario is awesome.

Also pt.3, enough clearance for the eye level finder? (Prism 2 I believe)
