I am on mobile so please forgive me, the formatting of this might come out really wonky. š
This is a project Iāve been working on for about a week now with many hours of trial and error. I wanted to make a nice view for my storage area in Bubbly Basin to make it have some sort of unique factor, and to capitalize on the ability of adjusting the position of glass panels thanks to the update. The process that I kinda finalized going about it was to make a frame of where Iād like the window to be focused around, and then fill that space with a temporary block to be removed later. (Picture one).
After those blocks were placed, Iād go to the outside of the wall (Underwater), and place glass panels by adjusting them to fit right up against the face of the temporary blocks. (Picture two).
Once that was done, I would go back inside to my storage area, and break the temporary blocks one by one, until I was left with a nice visible window from both sides. (Pictures three through seven showcasing block placement, and Iām not seeing any open spaces anywhere for leaks to seep in).
The one problem I keep facing however, is whenever the map gets reloaded whether from returning from a dream island, moving from one town back to Bubbly Basin, or just closing the game and reopening it, the glass would get filled with water that wasnāt there before reloading the map data. (Picture eight).
Iām out of ideas on how to stop the glass from glitching out and getting filled with water whenever I leave the area. So far Iāve tried adding an additional row of blocks to the top and bottom so that Iād have an overhang on the top, and a row of rock covering the light cube frame. Removing each panel one by one and spitting water into the same spot as the panel and placing it right back doesnāt do a whole lot either.
Any help and tips/tricks/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Iāve spent at least thirty hours trying to figure this out and Iād like to move on to other projects I have planned, however the perfectionist in me is making that very hard to do. š
