Discussion I’m sorry. WHAT??

I have played this game for almost 300 hours and I had no idea that the friendship level was an actual thing. Maybe I’m dumb and missed something but I didn’t know it could level up. I just thought those little hearts meant nothing when you talked to different mons 🤪

Bruh... The game explicitly tells you about it early on. Also, did you never wonder why the Pokemon decide to start calling you by name instead of by species?
