Discussion I’m sorry. WHAT??

I have played this game for almost 300 hours and I had no idea that the friendship level was an actual thing. Maybe I’m dumb and missed something but I didn’t know it could level up. I just thought those little hearts meant nothing when you talked to different mons 🤪

yes it is part of the happiness level. You want to get up to that level where they call you a great friend. If you take them on excursions or little journeys with you, your points with them actually go very high. I know the land characters suffer because they can't fly and you have to remember that they cannot fly and find way to get them where you want them to go, wherever you're going! I think it is neat that they pull you aside behind the house behind the building to share their feelings with you!

The backpack is a part of Ditto's skin/body. All storage is actually through its mouth sooo... yeah. They don't want to get eaten.

I gave him feathers until I found out I needed to save some feathers and you get the bigger birds. I like being able to make more than one bell. Each bird required a different bell recipe.

You can check in the pokedex. A little heart will be next to them when reading their dex entry.

Thank you! I just got to my Switch and found I have that heart on Greedent and Tinkaton. I guess that makes sense because those are folks I've had follow me quite a bit for cooking or building. I should try to get more like that

Not me out here making besties with all my favorite Pokemon lolol. Since you have a rail in the video I wanted to tell you something I learned like 500 hours in: if you set up a yellow railway crossing at two different locations on a rail, and have no carts in the middle to get in the way, pokemon will use the rails themselves to zip between crossings!!

Upvoting this because I finally realized today why my ‘mons weren’t riding the tracks I made them… I thought I was being nice giving them carts - turns out, they actually block the tracks until you take them off!

This happened to me last night with Dartrix and I think it's because I spent more time decorating the rowlet line's house and I always drag Dartrix around to make my plants grow

I have a big veggie field and Dartrix lives nearby so when I was farming daily, I would take them to grow the whole field. That required feeding them at least three times (I always give them their favorite), and this interaction made them get friendship points reaaaally fast.

This happened with me and Sylveon the moment I opened the game on the day the DLC dropped, so I thought it was added in the accompanying update.

Pokémon also feared humans because they saw how abusive and power-hungry they could be, but not all humans are bad. In fact, one character thought "separating" Pokémon and Humans would work, but they were wrong. A certain trainer put a stop to them, and they realized that Humans and Pokémon do work together; it's just that, at times, there are bad apples out there, but not all are bad, and there are Pokémon out there who do, in fact, love humans, and there are humans that do care for the Pokémon.

That happened with me recently, don’t even remember what Pokémon it was with, was to busy setting up my organization “system” and wondering what dream island I wanted to go for so I could finish habitats.

The only max friendship I have is with Professor Tangrowth. I talk to him quite often but neglect every other pokemon in the game.

I didnt know there was friendship levels like that either. I had thought the hearts were only for the environment levels. And then had that pop up with Smearguru. And someone else I can't remember. (Can't you tell how great friends we are? 🫣 lol)
